Heels
We offer 2 different heel constructions across our Men's Ballroom models.
Traditional Standard Heel
The traditional men's standard heel has a rubber top piece and a rubber heel tip. It is used on our entry level 330 Sandstorm, 335 Windrush, and our mid-range 345 Tempo models.
Pro-Glide Impact Heel
The Pro-Glide Impact heel features a layer of shock absorbent material to reduce impact on the joints. A suede tip curves and extends slightly up the back of the heel, to prevent peeling and to provide additional grip. It is used on all of our higher specification competition models.
Soles
Our Men's Ballroom models have either a full sole or a split sole construction.
Full Sole
Used on our entry level 330 Sandstorm and 335 Windrush models.
Split Sole
Used on all of our higher specification competition models.
All of our soles are made from suede, which provides an ideal balance of grip and slide for dancing on most standard dance floors.
Insole Shapes
Our Men's Ballroom models use 4 different insole shapes. Whilst all of our men's standard shoes are made to the same sizing specifications, the shape of the insole can affect the fit, and some shapes may be better suited to a particular foot than others.

Social Insole
The 330 Sandstorm has a standard, flat insole, whereas all other models benefit from enhanced inner socks with arch support and additional cushioning.
